Women tend to hit the gym and spend hours on the treadmill. The idea is that the more cardio they
do, the more calories they burn.

Doing countless hours of cardio will initially lead to weight loss.

Worse yet, you will start to lose muscle mass. Once that happens, it will have no definition or form.
