Myth No. # 1 on weight loss
The more weight I need to lose, the more intense my exercise routine should be.

getting tired. However, for someone who has been physically active for many years, you can walk half a mile without breaking a sweat. Everyone has a different definition of what “intense” is.Working out for an hour a day is very intense for you, but due to life's busy schedule, you only have time for 20 minutes a day, so those 20 minutes will do you a lot of good. It may not necessarily be classified as "intense" by definition, but those little moments of cardio will have positive effects on your health.

I can lose weight by eating what I want
The Truth About Weight Loss: Sir Issac Newton once said, "What goes up must come down." There are natural principles that govern our lives. If you throw a ball in the air, it will come back down. You can sit on your couch and imagine and visualize that the ball will stay afloat in the air, but natural principles teach us that it will come back down. The same goes for our weight.
It is one of the most common myths about weight loss. It is illogical to think that your health and weight will be balanced if your diet consists mainly of twinkies, crisps and donuts. Sure, you can burn it off by exercising, but most people whose diet is mostly junk food probably aren't disciplined enough to stick to an exercise routine. I know people who look good on the outside because they are not "fat but have high cholesterol".
Just because I'm sorry I broke the hearts of so many twinkie lovers, I would say this. You can eat junk food, cookies, crisps, ice cream, pizza, hamburgers ... all of these "soul foods", but in moderation. Any excess is never good.

Skipping meals is a good way to lose weight

Something like fruit, veg, or I could even make myself a fruit smoothie. During those times when I have a craving for ice cream or something sweet, I allow myself to have it and I do NOT feel guilty. Many overweight people live their lives in guilt and shame. I allow myself to get some, however, IN MODERATION.

I'm not fine until I lose weight
Weight Loss Fact: The person who is unwell because they are fat comes first because they are not doing well on their own. The way you think other people see you is based on your view of yourself. I really believe in being emotionally fit before you get in physical shape. I have experienced these self-limiting emotions before.
Once I realized I was ALREADY ENOUGH in the sight of God and didn't need to prove myself to anyone or receive external validation for my self-esteem, that made it all. the difference for me. Once you accept yourself for who you are NOW and realize that is enough in God's sight, you will no longer feel unacceptable because of your weight.

I have to cut calories to lose weight faster
The Truth About Weight Loss: Cutting back on calories can be a good thing if you overeat and fill your face. However, if you eat proportionately, reducing calories can have an aversive effect. If you cut calories and starve your body, it will lower your metabolism, or in other words, slow it down, which can prevent you from losing weight, even if you "cut calories".

Skipping meals will help me lose weight
Weight Loss Fact: Skipping Meals Can Make You Gain Weight! You will be very hungry and eventually need to eat. This will derail your metabolism and ultimately slow it down. Think of a car that runs out of gasoline (food), if you don't fill it up it will eventually stop working. The same goes for our body, we have to constantly nourish it.

I think I have genetic weight gain, it belongs to my family!

I'm not going to deny that there may be strong parenting tendencies to raising heavy kids that will stay heavy all their lives, but I don't think there is actually a “big” gene or DNA. What we inherit from our families, mainly those who raised us directly, are our opinions and beliefs.
Your opinions on food, money, religion, politics, education, etc. they are based on how you were brought up. If you grew up in a home where the main meals were fried foods, you can continue to cook and eat fried foods throughout your life. If so, you can have some weight around your waist. The easy thing is to blame those who were in charge of your education, however, you ALWAYS have the opportunity to change.

Eating healthy is too hard
Weight Loss Fact: Eating healthy is the easiest thing in the world ... once you practice it. How many times have you set a goal of losing weight or “eating better”? The first few days you are doing very well, eating all kinds of foods that you wouldn't normally eat. Then something fun started to happen, you went back to your old ways and behaviors.
It has happened to you in areas other than your health. It can be to earn money, to look for a new job, or in your relationships. Creating a new habit takes time because our brains don't like changes. Changing the brain is dangerous. You have to give up your favorite foods to lose weight
Truth About Weight Loss: What Would A World Be Like Without Chocolate Pepperoni Pizza? I think it would be a world of torture to experience it !! lol, now on a real note i totally disagree with this myth. You can definitely eat your favorite foods. Denying yourself that kind of fun isn't fun, and frankly, you'll probably eat it anyway. As mentioned above, the real key is moderation. If you are a meat lover, it might not be best to eat every day, but maybe once or twice a week.
Those who know me personally know that I love pizza chicken wings. In a perfect world where I wouldn't gain weight and my arteries wouldn't clog, I would love to eat it several times a week, well, more like everyday. However, I do know that these are not the healthiest food options, which is why I consume them about 2-3 times per month. I don't give up on my favorite foods, I just eat them in moderation so they don't make me too fat.

Overeating is caused by hunger.

It may have something to do with your body telling you it's time to refuel and you need food, but it's not an indication that you should overeat. There are a number of reasons why many people overeat. One of the main ones is the feeling of stress, depression, loneliness, anxiety, fear and other degrading emotions of this nature. Food can often be a way to meet your needs. In fact, you could meet your needs through your diet. For example, if you lead a lonely life and you are not very happy, then maybe food could be a way to make you feel happy and comforted. There are other articles I have written on this topic, but suffice it to say that overeating is NOT caused by hunger.

Only drastic diets work

These drastic diets range from the "cookie diet", hehehe ... All that to the "water diet" ... I'm sure you can lose weight on these diets, but the weight will be gained properly. back and usually with a little extra weight as a bonus

You fall, you get up ... you fall again, you get up. If you've ever tried to lose weight, now is the time to move on. Discouragement is losing weight like a piece of fried chicken for a vegetarian ... they do NOT go hand in hand.
